| Maverick is a medium early maturing variety similar to Monico. It is short in height with excellent stability. Maverick is widely adapted and a good yielding variety that produces high protien grain. This white hulled oat variety is suited to irrigated and high moisture areas. Maverick has the pedigree of 80Ab988(PI 578241)/Monida and was tested as 90AB1312. It was developed cooperatively by the USDA Agricultural Research Service and the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station. |
