| Scout 66 is a moderately early maturing, tall variety with fair straw strength. It has a long coleoptile, very good early spring regrowth, and fair to good winter hardiness. Scout 66 is the long time standard for grain quality (protein, milling, baking) in the HRW wheat region. It was developed by Nebraska and the USDA-ARS from selection made in the variety Scout. |
